Hi, Iām Jenava. I love to make visual sense of the world around me. This has translated into a wide variety of creative work opportunities. I work primarily in residential interiors and styling, as well as floral design. Creating a comfortable and intentional space brings me great satisfaction, and so does working with flowers and plant life! I have also had the great pleasure of working on event design, and worked for many years in the floral design community in the beautiful Bay Area, where I did wedding and event floristry. Designing in tandem with nature became a process that I fell in love with.
I love to read beautiful words, leave the window open during thunderous storms, and climb in quiet hills. I am a native of Salt Lake City, Utah, where the varied and magnificent landscapes formed much of my appreciation for the earth. You can find me surrounded by stacks of books, baskets of tile samples, and people that I love. I studied photography in the days of the darkroom, and then found myself learning in the glorious and inspiring halls of The School At The Art Institute of Chicago. I am a Mother to four children, a seeker of new experiences, and a writer at heart. I believe good relationships of all types are central to living well; be it the ones we have with ourselves and our people, or the ones we have with our spaces and the natural world around us. I love creating and gathering beauty for not just my own life, but for others as well.
